i was told never to move your wrist when painting (cabinets) cus it will be
thicker in the middle then the ends.. is that true? Also would a graco tip
work in a titan gun? or how would i get it to work

  4. The Idaho Painter says:

Use a graco gurard and it will. I move my wrist. Thanks for watching our

What kind of paint do you use on metal garage doors and do you prime it
    first?

  6. The Idaho Painter says:

Hi Chris thanks for your videos. I have a question about going up/down or
left/right. How do you know which? For example I have batt/board on my
house so I’m concerned about covering the batts (the previous painters got
really thin on them. hence why i’m repainting). Do you usually go up/down
when painting with the spray gun on the exterior (accent/body)?

  8. The Idaho Painter says:

You go in the direction of the siding. Thanks for watching our videos. For

Hi Chris. I’ve a graco 390 which is great for spraying emulsion internally.
I set it to 1800 psi as demonstrated to me in the shop, is this the best
pressure? I use trade emulsion’s watered down about 5%. For that garage
door what paint are you using, and what paints and surfaces could I expect
to paint with my 390? For instance is acrylic paint on woodwork out of the
    question? Thanks

  10. The Idaho Painter says:

I use 2200 psi or more. You can use it for anything. Thanks for watching my

to thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m not a professional, just a

RAP200G SPRAY STATION. Sense I want be paint everyday like yourself I
thought it would work for me. It has a 515 tip. I’m going to use your
technique and I hope I get the same results. I want to thank you again for
your videos and I’m already sharing them with family and friends. I’ll be

Love your videos, very instructional – Question – when & where do you
follow up your spray with back-rolling? Is it necessary?
    thanks, jeff

  23. donjantzen says:

I can say this… I’ve learned more from Chris than any other channel. I
(like a dope) bought a Graco sprayer (like a dumb guy thought “I’ll figure
it out”, well, I didn’t. From then on, this channel has been my go to for
almost every paint tip/lesson since then….give him a chance, watch his
videos, and you’ll find yourself doing so much better.

  24. imad omda says:

do you recommend the roller or the spray gun for someone who have time (my

  26. Order in Chaos says:

What is that a 419 tip? Why the heck is he in a hurry? He needs to trigger
his gun. If he has to go somewhere let someone else do the spraying slowly
and neatly. It’s not a monster chainsaw competition.
